What is Vein Removal?
Visible veins through the skin are typically blood vessels that have widened due to a weakness in the vein wall or problems with valves that control the blood flow,
These damaged veins can appear like spider web or raised veins of different colours. Resolution of this problem is dependant on the nature and location of the damaged vein.

How Laser Vein Removal Works?
The least invasive form of either Spider Veins or Varicose Veins is Laser Vein Removal. This technology uses laser light to effectively collapse the veins without doing any damage to the surrounding outer layers of skin.
The majority of the heat from the light is absorbed by the Red Haemoglobin in the blood vessels so there is no risk of scarring.
The wavelength discharged through the pulse of the machine enables the light to reach the targeted veins under the skin, clearing or fading the vein significantly
Your downtime is eliminated by preventing redness, or bruising.

Easy Vein Removal
At Sydney Vein Clinic, Vein Removal may be either painless or painful, depending on the patient’s perception of pain and general state of well-being on the day of treatment.
All procedures require either direct injections of an active drug or local anaesthetic. In all cases, the needles used are finer in calibre than that used to take routine blood tests.
How Many Treatments Will Be Needed?
The number of treatments needed, will depend on the condition of the veins to be treated. At the Vein Clinic Sydney we assess and review your options and make treatment recommendations in the form of a Treatment Plan.
This Treatment Plan offers the least invasive Vein Removal strategy available. A standard treatment plan usually requires 10 injections.
Depending on the severity of the vein conditions being treated, the local appearance can worsen during the early stages of treatment. Over 6 to 9 weeks from the treatment commencement, the treated limbs should continue to improve and should completely normalise over time.
A small number of individuals, approximately 1 in 50, do not respond completely to the Sclerotherapy, despite 2 to 3 repeated treatments to the same area.
